Charity Done for FUN!
Can I donate funds to the City of Ketchum and receive a tax deduction?
Yes! According to the IRS, donations to the city are tax deductible as long as they are made solely for public purposes.
Programs and services to which you may donate include children's recreation and youth program scholarships, park development and stewardship, memorials, tree plantings and much, much more. Capital campaigns are activated when the City Council determines support for a project.
How Can I Give?
The City of Ketchum accepts cash donations online. You can also donate by mailing a check to P.O. Box 2315 Ketchum, ID 83340 or bringing it to City Hall. Cash donors will receive a confirmation letter which includes the city's tax identification number for your tax records.
Time is always welcome! We have a robust volunteer program for kids' programs, park stewardship and commission service for arts and events, among other things!
Sure, we'll take stuff, too! Items donated to the Ketchum Recreation Department help execute programs and services. Let us know if you need to give away your outgrown ice skates or soccer cleats - we'll find a use for them!
THANK YOU!
