Snow Removal and Dangers 

The Ketchum Street Department would like area residents to be aware of some of the hazards associated with snow removal operations. When snow removal equipment is out working, please understand that the operator's visibility is limited due to equipment design and weather conditions. For this reason: 

• Whenever encountering snow removal equipment slow down and keep a safe distance away.
• Try and remember you can see them, but they might not always be able to see you.

Hours of Operation 

We try to perform most of the winter street maintenance in the morning hours because it is safer and more efficient. However, there are times we need to perform these services during the day. Please use caution when approaching snow removal equipment and talk to your children about the dangers associated with snow removal equipment and the dangers of playing in the right-of-way.
