Call for Artists & Designers - Creative Crosswalks 2023

The City of Ketchum seeks the creation of original designs by two artists to enhance crosswalks, create safe crossings, add vitality to public life, and celebrate artistic talent. Artwork will be installed at four intersections: Sun Valley Road and Leadville Avenue, Sun Valley Road and East Avenue, Sun Valley Road and Walnut Avenue and Sun Valley Road and Spruce Avenue.

Two artist works will be selected. One artist will be selected to design Sun Valley Road and Leadville Avenue, as well as Sun Valley Road and East Avenue. A second artist will be selected to design Sun Valley Road and Walnut Avenue as well as Sun Valley Road and Spruce Avenue.

Chosen artist works will be recommended by the Ketchum Arts Commission to the Ketchum City Council for final approval. Upon approval by the Ketchum City Council, the artists will receive a design fee of $1,000.00.
