Santa Claus is Coming to Town Square!
KETCHUM, Idaho – Join us at Ketchum Town Square on Wednesday, Dec. 4, for the Holiday Lighting Ceremony featuring a very special guest: Santa Claus!
The celebration will begin at 4:30 p.m. with music on the Town Square stage featuring Caritas Chorale. The city will be serving cookies and cocoa.
Santa will arrive in typical style on a fire truck at 5 p.m. Together, with Mayor Neil Bradshaw, they will lead us in a countdown to light the Square.
“The snow has fallen just in time,” said Mayor Neil Bradshaw. “As the lights go on, not only does it signal the start of the holiday season, it also marks a time when we get to connect with old friends and meet new ones, as we welcome our visitors to town.”
After the lighting and inside the Visitor Center, the children will have a chance to visit with Santa and receive a candy cane as a parting gift.
Don’t let the children come without their wish lists. The mailbox for letters to Santa will be on the stage. Be sure to include a return address so Santa can write back.
