We also use Microsoft Clarity to help us understand how visitors interact with our webpages, including clicking, scrolling, and navigation patterns. This information helps us identify ways to improve site design and user experience. 

If you subscribe to City newsletters, we use Mailchimp to manage email communications. Mailchimp may collect your email address, subscription preferences, and general engagement metrics, such as whether emails were opened. 

If the City provides access to citation lookup or online citation payment services through CitationInfo.com, please note that this service is operated by a third-party vendor. Any information entered on that site, including citation numbers, license plate data, name, contact information, or payment details, is handled according to the vendor’s privacy and security practices. The City does not collect or store credit card information associated with these transactions. 

The City may also use Facebook and Instagram (Meta) advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel, to measure outreach effectiveness and improve communication with residents. These tools may collect information about website visits, device characteristics, and general demographic or interest-based data, as determined by Meta’s privacy practices. 

We may use Google Ads or Google Tag Manager to support outreach campaigns, evaluate their performance, and understand how users interact with City communications. Google may collect non-personal identifiers, device information, and aggregated interest categories. 

In some cases, the City may use encrypted, anonymized email lists to create “custom audiences” on platforms such as Facebook or Google. This allows us to ensure that communications reach individuals who have previously signed up to receive information from the City. These lists are encrypted before being shared, and the City does not receive additional personal information from these platforms in return. 

City of Ketchum Mobile App

The City is using SeeClickFix, an online and mobile service request system, to power its mobile app, My Ketchum, and reporting forms. SeeClickFix is an application that allows the City's citizens to report non-emergency related issues to the county. SeeClickFix can be used via the Web on a desktop computer, laptop, mobile phone, or tablet.

SeeClickFix is a public application. The description entered will be visible to the public. Your display name will also be visible unless you choose to submit as Anonymous. Your email address will never be displayed publicly.

How We Use Information 

We use the information we collect to provide and improve City services, respond to inquiries, process requests, support public communication and outreach, maintain website security, and ensure the proper functioning of City digital platforms. We may also use aggregated or anonymized information to analyze trends, improve website performance, and evaluate the effectiveness of City communications. 

How We Share Information 

The City does not sell or rent personal information. We may share information with third-party vendors who assist in delivering City services, operating our website, managing communications, processing online transactions, or conducting analytics. These vendors are required to use the information only for the purpose of providing services to the City.

Certain information submitted to the City may be subject to public disclosure unless an exemption applies. We may also share information when necessary to protect public safety or City systems.
