Celebrate Summer’s Start at Town Square

KETCHUM, IDAHO – The City of Ketchum invites residents and visitors to Town Square to celebrate the start of summer as the longest day of the year gives way to our brilliant dark and starry skies.

The city’s second annual Summer Solstice bash is planned for Friday, June 21, from 5 to 9 p.m.

The family-friendly event marks the start of the summer season and is a celebration of our Dark Sky Community and Dark Sky Reserve.

“This will be a great event to kick off the summer season” said Ketchum Mayor Neil Bradshaw “A chance to connect as a community and celebrate the longest day.”

Some exciting additions to this year’s family events are a bungee trampoline and Robbie Pfunder’s Mountain Bike Trials Stunt Show. Boise band, Bread and Circus, will play on the stage at the Square. Local food and drinks will be available from KB’s, Sawtooth Brewery, Warfield and Sun Valley Brewing Company.
