Ketchum Arts Commission
The Ketchum Arts Commission (KAC) was created by the City of Ketchum in 2007 with the objective of integrating arts and culture into the community's life. The KAC is a division of the Ketchum Parks & Recreation Department.

The KAC consists of local volunteers who are active in and passionate about the arts. Numerous other individuals donate time and services to help implement the KAC's initiatives.

Calls For Artists
Percent For Art - A Request For Qualifications for Percent For Art projects was released on February 9th. Artists are asked to submit their qualifications to be considered for a list of pre-qualified artists available to incorporate art into a variety of city capital improvement projects. The City will use this list as a resource for identifying potential artists at the beginning of the design phase of public projects eligible for percent for art funds.

Projects may include but are not limited to sidewalks, chain link fences, building walls or trash cans.

Art in City Hall and Wagon Days Poster - This year's themed Art in City Hall exhibition will showcase Ketchum's premier event - Wagon Days! Artists are invited to submit up to five works of art for consideration. See the Art in City Hall 2017: Wagon Days Poster and Call for Wagon Days Themed Art for more details. The Call also includes information regarding submission of a poster design for the 2017 Wagon Days celebration - it's the event's 60th anniversary!

Art on Fourth - A Call for Artists for the tenth annual Art on Fourth sculpture exhibition is open. View the press release for details. A blind jury consisting of KAC members and community members will choose three sculptures for display on the Fourth Street Heritage Corridor in Ketchum from June through October 2017. The KAC may request that sculptures be displayed through the winter of 2017-18. Each chosen artist will earn a stipend of $2,000 for the exhibition.

SUN Art Exhibition - a press release and Call for Artists is now available for the annual exhibition at Friedman Memorial Airport in Hailey, Idaho. Arts Commission members have offered their support and expertise for this initiative.
